Banner Witcoff is one of the best performing and most active
law firms in inter partes review (IPR), according to Patexia’s 2019 IPR
Intelligence Report that also recognizes more than a dozen firm attorneys.

The report – which
was released August 28 and measures the performance of 941 law firms across
8,107 IPRs between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2019 – ranks Banner Witcoff as a
top firm in every category for which it analyzed law firm performance in IPRs.
Notably, the report recognizes Banner Witcoff as the 7th best performing firm
for representing patent owners, the 17th most active law firm representing
petitioners, and the 22nd most active firm
overall.

In addition to the firm’s impressive rankings, Patexia’s
report recognizes the following Banner Witcoff attorneys for being among the
best performing and most active IPR attorneys in the nation:

• Erik S. Maurer ranks in
  the top five best performing attorneys representing patent owners;
• Christopher
  J. Renk ranks in the top 15 best performing attorneys representing patent
  owners;
• Charles W. Shifley ranks
  among the top 20 best performing attorneys for petitioners;
• Frederic M. Meeker and Bradley C. Wright rank in
  the top 20 most active attorneys representing petitioners;

Earlier in August, Patexia ranked Banner Witcoff No.
2 on its list of the top five law firms with the largest growth in IPRs
over the last five years, and Brad Wright No.
1 among the top five attorneys with the biggest boost in IPRs during the
same period.
