Robert Boyd focuses primarily on patent prosecution in the mechanical arts.

Mr. Boyd has over twenty years of product development experience ranging from consumer goods to military equipment and is an inventor on multiple patents. Prior to joining Banner & Witcoff, Ltd., Mr. Boyd was as an engineering manager at Nike where he managed a team of engineers, technical specialists and outside consultants tasked with developing innovative athletic equipment.

Prior to working at Nike, Mr. Boyd worked as a project engineer both at Adams Golf designing golf clubs and at Raytheon on a variety of projects from circuit card assemblies and electronic enclosures to airframe development.

Mr. Boyd earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, cum laude, from Texas A&M University and a Master of Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in Mechanical Engineering. He received his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law.
