Sunita combines a strong scientific background with 10 years of industry experience with a multi-national technology company.

Sunita assesses patentability of invention disclosures, prepares and prosecutes patent applications and provides client counseling related to computer hardware (processors, wired and wireless networks), computer software (cryptography/encryption, blockchain/consensus algorithms, 3D modeling, databases), robotics/artificial intelligence (brain machine interfaces, machine learning, speech/pattern recognition) and multi-disciplinary technologies (semiconductors, MEMS, medical/mechanical devices, microfluidics).

Prior experience:

• Intel Corporation (10 years) – Sunita contributed to the definition, development and implementation of design methodology for over seven microprocessors including the Pentium 3, first and second generation Pentium 4 and Itanium microprocessors.
• MIT Technology Licensing Office – assessed patentability and commercial viability of invention disclosures, assisted with strategic portfolio management, development of licensing strategies and patent prosecution of MIT’s biotechnology patent portfolios (genetic engineering for nanostructure synthesis, cell imaging, plant nanobionics and nanoparticle design for biological applications).
