Banner & Witcoff will sponsor the second annual Chicago HealthTECH Summit at Insight Product Development, 4660 N. Ravenswood Ave., in Chicago.

The event will feature the city’s first health tech crowdfunding competition. Five early-stage medical device and digital health startups from around the Midwest were previously chosen to participate in an online crowdfunding showcase. These startups were given one month to engage online with key stakeholders in the health tech field, including physicians and other healthcare practitioners, patients, caregivers, patient advocacy groups, investors and potential acquirers.

The finalists will be announced at the Chicago HealthTECH Summit, where they will also engage in person with potential stakeholders and event attendees.
