Ms. Xin Li focuses her practice on patent prosecution in a wide variety of electrical engineering disciplines, including communications, semiconductor devices, displays, and electrical circuits.

Ms. Li earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science from Fudan University. She also received a Master of Engineering degree in Microelectronics & Solid State Electronics from Chinese Academy of Sciences and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University.

Prior to joining Banner and Witcoff, Ms. Li served as a patent agent at an intellectual property boutique law firm in Washington D.C. for eight years. She has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of U.S. patent applications, and participated in appeals before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Prior to her legal career, Ms. Li worked as an R&D engineer at a communication company.
